I have known Joe
and Andrea for years. I continually marvel at their committment to bringing
the right horse together with the right owner for a happily-ever-after
union. I have recommended their horses to my own clients, who remain thrilled
with the quality and character of their equine partner. I have bought
one of their horses myself, and she is the joy of my life. They represent
each horse fairly, are quick to see a horse's potential, and are honest
as to its current limitations. Joe and Andrea are well-woven into the
horse industry nationwide: if they do not have a horse that is suitable
for a client, chances are good that they know several possibilities at
other farms. I highly recommend Wellborn Quarter Horses as a valuable
source for the serious horse-shopper.
"I was so
impressed with Andrea, her facility, and the video she made on the TB
horse for sale (Mo) that I did not even come to see him. I bought him
from the video! Andrea suggested that I have his right knee X-rayed since
there had been some creaking sounds in that knee before Andrea put him
on MSM and Glucosamine. The X ray showed no damage, and the vet could
not even find the creaking sounds. There are very few people in this business
(selling horses) that would have told me about the knee."
our daughter's 9 year old TB gelding from Andrea in 1999. On our first
visit, she gave us the file which showed Clarence's entire history, including
photos of his "abandonment" and near starvation. Andrea had
traced his pedigree and racing history thru the Jockey Club.
a matchmaker. She seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to matching
the right horse to the right person. I think it's a gift that is rare
and special indeed. My purchase of my Golden Dun Quarter Horse named "Keto"
from Andrea and Joe (in 1997) started a lifelong friendship with them
for which I'll always be grateful. I've had the best times of my life
since Andrea matched me up with my horse."
